The works of Yuto Yonemura will be on exhibit for the 17th edition of mtk+.

Yuto Yonemura
Born in 1996 in Osaka Prefecture, Yonemura Yuto is a Kyoto-based artist. He graduated with a degree in mixed media from the Department of Fine and Applied Arts, Kyoto University of Art and Design (today, Kyoto University of the Arts). His major exhibitions include　solo shows BAROM and/or several long stories （Kyoto City KYOCERA Museum of Art, Kyoto, 2023）, the outdoor sculpture AGARUMANS (Best Friend), ART SCRAMBLE, (Grand Front Osaka, 2021), the solo shows Barororm Squad: I’m Self-Standing! (NEUTRAL, Kyoto, 2022) and Gaaa Wiii (COHJU contemporary art, Kyoto, 2022), Three-person show, Symbolizing Problems: Sculpture, Body, Masculinity (Hotel Anteroom Kyoto, 2022–23) (with Ogasawara Shu and Kumagai Takuya), and two-person show, NSFS/Endless Lorelei (EUKARYOTE, Tokyo, 2023) (with Kurachi Tomonosuke).
His major awards include Excellence Award "Pommerry Prize Kyoto 2023"（Kyoto International Conference Center, 2023）.
