We will be hosting a group exhibition “young okazaki Vol.01” (yanoka Vol.01 for short) featuring young artists of the next generation. In this exhibition works by four emerging artists will be on display. Works shown are by Shinya AZUMA’s figurative paintings are created with rough brush strokes, reminiscent of the howling sound of the electric guitar, captivating materiality within the paintings, and Nanami INOUE’s Suff series paintings, featuring her signature organic grids, made through the act of drawing lines repeatedly creating faint blurs. Along with the works by the two artists mentioned above, Yu KUROSAKA’s paintings that are composed of several elements that when combined, creates a physical phenomenon within the surface of the painting, and Ibuki MINAMI’s works translates the artist’s thought process into visual structural figures onto the canvas using bright colors, will be exhibited at the gallery.
